What is Backyard Finance?
Backyard Finance is a yield manager on Solana that combines stablecoin vaults from multiple protocols into one diversified strategy. Instead of juggling separate positions, you pick your vaults, set your allocations, and manage everything from a single dashboard.
What sets Backyard apart from preset vault products is control. You choose which vaults go into a strategy, how much capital each one gets, and when to rebalance. The protocol also mints BYD, its own liquid stablecoin, against strategy LP tokens, so deposited capital does not have to sit idle.
Backyard Finance Airdrop Details
Backyard has not announced a token or an airdrop. What it does have is Backyard BBQ Season 0, a live rewards program that looks a lot like the pre-token campaigns other Solana protocols have run before their TGEs. Treat this as a speculative opportunity: you are farming XP and badges, not confirmed tokens.
Season 0 runs on a 7-tier badge system with a kitchen theme. You start as a Junior Cook (Tier 7) and climb through Steward, Station Chef, Sauce Chef, Deputy Chef, and Head Chef toward Executive Chef (Tier 1).
XP comes from creating strategies and depositing into vaults, with three multipliers deciding how fast you climb: deposit size, holding streak, and partner vaults. Badges carry forward into Season 1, where your tier determines your APY boost once multipliers and incentives go live. Higher badge, bigger boost.
