Overview
Most DeFi yield depends on trading volume, token emissions, or market cycles. Huma Finance connects on-chain capital to real payment financing demand.
Huma is the first Payment Finance (PayFi) network, helping users access short-term liquidity for cross-border payments, card settlement, trade invoices, marketplace payouts, and other flows.
Users deposit USDC into Huma 2.0 on Solana to earn stablecoin yield from payment financing activity. In return, they receive PayFi Strategy Tokens (PST) and collect Huma Feathers — the protocol’s loyalty points that convert into $HUMA tokens distributed each quarter.
The yield comes from payment businesses that pay financing fees to access instant USDC liquidity, instead of waiting on slower banking rails. Huma’s 2024 merger with Arf, a Swiss-regulated cross-border payment provider, expanded this model across global payment financing with a zero default rate since launch.
Huma has raised $46.3M from Circle Ventures, HashKey Capital, Distributed Global, ParaFi, and the Stellar Development Foundation. Smart contracts are audited by Halborn, Sec3, and Certora.

Early liquidity providers earn Huma Feathers — loyalty points that convert into $HUMA tokens distributed to eligible wallets each quarter. Feathers accumulate through USDC deposits, active positions, lockup choices, and referrals.
Classic mode gives users stable USDC yield (~8% APY) plus baseline Feather rewards, while 3-month and 6-month lockups multiply Feather earnings (~2x and ~3x) for users comfortable keeping funds committed until the lockup ends.
Users can also invite friends and earn 10% of their Feathers for 12 months.

Deposit USDC and earn yieldHard·~10min
Select Classic mode, enter the amount of $USDC you want to deposit, and choose a lockup period. Locking for 3 or 6 months multiplies your Feather rewards but restricts withdrawals until the period ends. Check the PayFi Strategy Memorandum box, click Deposit, and sign in your wallet. You receive PST tokens.

Stake any $HUMA you receive in the Stake tab to earn ~2.4% APY and unlock early access to new liquidity increases. Unstaking takes 14 days.
