Financial markets are moving onchain, but the infrastructure is still fragmented.
Crypto assets, perpetual futures, prediction markets, tokenized equities, commodities, gaming economies, FX, and AI agents all need fast execution, deep liquidity, and reliable settlement.
Monaco is trading infrastructure on Sei that connects frontends, market makers, and agents through one shared liquidity layer, so trading activity is not split across separate venues.
For traders, Monaco is about better execution onchain. Orders are matched through a central order book, where price and timing decide priority. This gives traders more control over entries and exits, while maker rebates can reward limit orders that add liquidity to the market.
For builders, Monaco removes the need to launch isolated markets with thin liquidity. New products can plug into the Monaco stack and route trading activity through the same infra.
Behind Monaco is Monaco Research, a New York-based financial services company focused on open-source global trading infrastructure and led by Simran Singh, a former GSR and Goldman Sachs trading executive, as reported by PRNewswire.
Monaco Testnet: What You Can Do 🪂
Monaco’s public testnet is live, giving users a hands-on way to explore the order book, test spot and perps markets, and get familiar with the protocol early.
The main actions are simple: place trades, use limit orders, add liquidity to the book, and explore any TraderCode or referral features available in the app.
Monaco rewards liquidity, not just activity. Traders who place maker orders can receive rebates when those orders are filled, and every fee tier includes a maker rebate, while TraderCodes let users invite other traders and earn a share of fees from the volume they bring in.
Monaco has not announced a token airdrop, points program, leaderboard rewards, or retroactive allocation rules. For now, use the testnet, test the main flows, and follow Monaco for updates.
Go to the Monaco testnet app.
