Umbra Privacy is a privacy protocol built on Solana described as “incognito mode for your money”. It runs on Arcium, a multi-party computation (MPC) layer that handles encrypted execution, enabling users to shield token balances, send confidential trasnfers, and interact with DeFi privately. The protocol went live on public mainnet in early 2026, with a mobile app available via TestFlight for iOS users. Umbra raised approximately $3M through an oversubscribed ICO on MetaDAO in October 2025.
No official token airdrop has been announced for new users outside the ICO. That said, Umbra has an active referral program with a points-based leaderboard, and early access approval may come with small welcome rewards — though these details remain unconfirmed officially. The referral program is live: you share a code, earn points, and climb the leaderboard while waiting for full app access.
The focus right now is on waitlist sign-ups and early product usage. Whether points convert to token rewards has not been confirmed, but getting active on the platform early keeps you positioned if any future distribution targets engaged users.
Go to the Umbra Privacy app and create an account. You’ll be placed in a waitlist queue pending access approval.
Once you have app access, locate your referral code in the dashboard. Share it with others to earn points and move up the leaderboard. Each successful referral adds to your point total.
After receiving mainnet access, connect a Solana wallet and shield a token of your choice. This is Umbra’s core action — transferring an asset into a shielded state where balances and transfers are private. You’ll need SOL for transaction fees. You can purchase SOL on Binance.
Use the app to send shielded tokens to another address. This tests the protocol’s confidential transfer feature and adds to your on-chain activity record.
Install the Umbra TestFlight app on iOS and explore features through the mobile interface. Early testers who engage with beta features may receive separate recognition.
